Our March show features a very special screening of one of the most notorious short films ever made.

We also have the first in a new series. 'Anotomy of a Scene', where local film makers show a scene from a famous film and then talk about it from a cinematic perpective.

We also have our usual array of the best new shorts from the local, national and international scene.

UN CHIEN ANDALOU - BUNUEL AND DALI - 16mins

A rare chance to see this landmark short, made in 1929 and containing one of the most shocking scenes in the history of cinema.

A stream of non-related scenes combine to confound the viewer, as Bunuel stated: "Nothing, in the film, symbolises anything. The only method of investigation of the symbols would be, perhaps, psychoanalysis."
