:: ALL OVER BRAZIL - Director David Ward - 10 mins ::
This coming-of-age drama is set against the backdrop of glam-rock and the 1974 World Cup. The films was originally commissioned by BBC/Scottish Screen and was an official selection for the Edinburgh International Film Festival.

:: WORSE THAN DEATH (TRAILER) - Director Dominic Jones - 1 min ::
Although this new horror gore-fest from Brighton film-maker, Dominic Jones, is still in post production, it is already being talked about in the local media. This trailer has been specially prepared for Final Cut audiences, giving them a sneak preview of what is to come
.

:: BOB & FRANK'S PAUSE FOR THOUGHT - Director Jason Black - 2 mins ::
Two philosophical ducks discuss the future of humankind and what they (the ducks) ate for breakfast . Profound, thoughtful or stupid - you be the judge!

:: GREEN BRITAIN: THE BATTLE (TRAILER) - Director Paul Dooner - 3 mins ::
Trailer for a controversial and hard-hitting short film to be screened later in the festival that tells the story of 'The Worthing Outrage' when one of Britain's few cannabis coffee shops, Quantum Leaf, was closed in a police raid. Extracted from the feature documentary Green Britain - The Battle, due for release later this year, it captures the spirit of the local cannabis community's resistance, led by disabled cannabis activist Chris Baldwin.

:: AFTER MIDNIGHT - Director Neville Powell - 3 mins ::
Animated music video from this talented and prolific London-based animator.

:: CONSIDER YOURSELF AT HOME - Director Andy Gibson - 10 mins ::
Animated ghost film made entirely from individual stills shot on a DV camera. With chilling intensity, it charts a man's gradual descent into madness after being contacted by his dead wife. Filmed in Brighton, this one is seriously weird - and highly watchable.

:: SOUTHSIDE (TRAILER) - Director MJ McMahon - 1 min ::
Trailer promoting a new drama we will also be screening later in the festival. The film concerns an unwanted pregnancy and an irate father, hungry for blood, and is set in London's gangland.

:: PAYBACK.COM - Director Alex Watts - 11 mins ::
A funny, well-acted film about revenge which tells the story of Lou and Lily, two women who have been carrying out 'paybacks' since they were 10 years old. As adults, they have turned their gift for imaginative forms of punishment into a successful business. If the price is right, there is nothing they won't do…

:: LORNA 2003 - Director Kirsty Jones - 1 min ::
A tribute to Lorna, victim of an horrific road crash. This explicit ultra-short packs a powerful punch as it reveals her bravery in overcoming terrible injuries.

:: CHINA 2001 - Director Kirsty Jones - 1 min ::
This second ultra-short from Kirsty Jones is undoubtedly the shortest travel documentary ever made.

:: PROCESSIONAL - Director Iloobia - 6 mins ::
This unusual animated music film was made in Brighton and creeps through the back alleys and dead-ends of the city, finding strange things afoot in its dark, forgotten corners.

::THE MOST BORING WOMAN IN THE WORLD - Director Anthony Carpendale - 15 mins ::
A wry black comedy telling the story of a downtrodden housewife who dreams of a better life. After consuming too much vodka and tranquilisers, her frustrations lead to fantasises about killing an adulterous husband and escaping her boring existence. But, are they just fantasies?

:: THE REHEARSAL - Director James Tapp - 10 mins ::
Filmed in Brighton, this camp comedy stars local thespian, Arthur Bostrom, as a successful sitcom actor rehearsing a 'serious' role in a stage adaptation of a classic French play. Completely ignoring his hapless director's advice to 'find' his character through improvisation, the actor's insecurities lead him to rely on an increasing number of hilariously inappropriate props and gimmicks.

:: TEXT FIELD - Directors Chirstinn Whyte & Jake Messenger - 1 min ::
Very clever ultra-short combining animated typeface with computer-generated voices.

:: SOLO PARTY - Director Sylvie Bolioli - 5 mins ::
A man waits at a grandly laid dinner table as two women prepare for a grand occasion. They appear to be destined to spend a pleasant evening together, but nothing is what it seems in this intriguing drama. With its ticking clocks and gothic look, the film creates a disturbing impression of intrigue, leading the audience quite literally down the garden path.

:: CRUTCHMASTER - Director Nicolas Jenkins - 8 mins ::
Remarkable documentary from New York telling the story of a physically disabled dancer who pursues a successful career as a street performer/dancer with tha aid of crutches and a skateboard.
