RORY FIELDING - Director Kevin Napier - 6 mins (US)
Clever and well-acted Woody Allen - esque
film presented in colour and B/W. Based on an original and hilarious
premise, it is full of witty self-deprecating dialogue and well-
judged performances. Think Zelig and you're almost there.

CHEMICAL BROTHERS - 'OUT OF CONTROL' - 3 mins (1999)
Cops in riot gear track a revolutionary through an embattled barrio.
But his guerrilla girl saves the day by refreshing him with a sexy
soda break until it's time to drop the bomb on the cops. All hell
breaks loose, life becomes a TV commercial and then becomes a cathartic
act of vandalism. Visually and sonically, it's an absolute riot.

MARILYN MANSON - 'FIGHT SONG' - 3 mins (2002)
'I'm 45, a father of two, a self made business man. I'm not the
drugged out, death crazed kid that the Fascist Right Wing media
try to claim is the Marilyn Manson fan. Manson saves us from yet
more mindless fluff from the likes of Maria Carey, Britney Spears,
911, Boyzone, or whatever band of talentless, uncontroversial group
of actors stamped out by the Corporate Cookie Cutter this week.
Manson tells it like it is. I'll take his view of the world over
any sick politician who 'defends our country' by dropping bombs
on innocent civilians and who's only crime is to live in a place
where there's a lot of oil. Rock on!' Review courtesy 'Sing365.com'

DAYLIGHT ROBBERY - Director WIZ - 4 mins
Highly personal and amusing film telling the story of how the wall
of WIZ's flat was covered by a huge Microsoft poster while he was
away, including his windows (!) - and what he did to fix the problem.
Worth seeing for the shot of Bill Gates getting a custard
pie in his face.

MELANIE G - 'WORD UP' - 4 mins (1999)
'Mel G takes the old Cameo classic and swaps its big red
codpiece for a skintight PVC catsuit, dragging it into late 90s
Missy Eliott territory in the process. Backed up with a video
so deviantly scary it would make Baby Spice run off to her mum,
Word Up reinforces her position as the premier Solo Spice, just
managing to edge out the big diva sounds emanating from a certain
Miss Haliwell.' Review by 'Headcleaner' at web.ukonline.co.uk

OASIS - 'STOP CRYING YOUR HEART OUT' - 5 mins (2002)
'Fuck! How easily Oasis should be critically dissected in mere
handfuls of unkind adjectives and sprinkled Beatles references.
And how embarrassingly plod-rock have the most famously eye-browed
brothers in music become over their last few offerings? From reliably
rock 'n' roll, they've morphed into a laughably derivative circus
with maximum bravado and minimum tunes. And there's no Definitely
Maybe about that.
'How does Stop Crying Your Heart Out fit into all of this?
Well forget momentarily that you won't find such a startling lack
of originality this side of Ocean-fucking-Colour Scene. Because
the second single from upcoming make-or-break opus 'Heathen Chemistry'
is memorable, anthemic, bathed in laddish emotion and wouldn't sound
out of place alongside anything from the afore-mentioned celebrated
debut album. Which could be because the chorus is so close to that
of Slide Away that fans the world over will be made to look
foolish in botched attempts to sing along. Like corrupt politicians
and income tax, Oasis will seemingly always exist. Better get used
to them then.' Review courtesy 'Drowned In Sound'
Oh, well, you can't win them all. Great video, though.

A PROPER CHARLIE - Directors Alistair Lock & Doug Devaney
- 9 mins
Now that the Lib Dems have a new leader, this is the perfect time
to show Resident Alien's first film, a clever satire about a recently
unemployed Charles Kennedy professional look-alike. But times
change and so do people in the news...funny how much Charlie resembles
Johnny (Vegas).
