BULLET IN THE HEAD - Director Matt Wattering - 12 mins

Tense, violent Brighton-shot thriller about a local gangster who is shot in the head just moments before the biggest drug deal of his career.

GIRLS OF VALOUR - Directors Adam Aiken & Shelley Revill - 4 mins

This well-executed music animation from the directors of Slow West Vultures, tells the story of a young girl at her local swimming pool. Spurred on by the graceful swimming routines performed by a group of glamorous older girls, she finally plucks up the courage to dive from the top board.

CHERISE - Director Gary Osborne - 19 mins

This gritty drama based on Tennyson's Lady of Shalott tells the story of how one man's search for love becomes the catalyst for a woman's agoraphobia and fear.

DARK HAIR'D RIDER - Director Toby Amies - 2 mins

Almost an ultra-short, this funny, smart and seriously snappy MV features a brand-new Rockabilly masterpiece from New York-based Heavy Trash. Featuring Jon Spencer of the Blues Explosion and Matt Verta-Ray of Speedball Baby and shot on a miniscule budget, the director made the film according to the principles of the surrealist game, 'The Exquisite Corpse'. It says here.

JUST ONE MORE NIGHT - Director Pat Garrett - 6 mins

From the director of the hilarious 'alternative-musical', Johnny Maybe & The Porn Star, this very different one-hander is performed superbly by local actor, Nigel Osner. A poignant tribute to faded celebrity, it tells the story of an almost-forgotten screen star ending a long career by performing wherever she can get a booking.

You be the judge. Featuring inspired audio edits and music from America's online sampling genius, Party Party plus images from Toby Amies.

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we." — George W. Bush, Washington, D.C., Aug. 5, 2004

TIME LOOTERS - Director Ed Hartwell - 12 mins

Mad inventor, Rupert Tofton has built a time machine and intends to use it to find the hidden treasure of Big Beard The Pirate in this witty 'Pugwash' pastiche. Tofton's plan involves stealing Big Beard's treasure map from under his nose and hoping he doesn't notice. The various problems that ensue suggest that disguising the time machine as a Wendy House wasn't such a good idea after all.

TORQUE - Director Janine Fischer - 6 mins

I HATE TO LOVE YOU - Director Amir Bazrafshan - 7 mins

MIDAS - Director John Holloway - 10 mins
